On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month Old Carolians join together to commemorate the past pupils of the School who gave their lives in the two World Wars and in more recent military conflicts in the Falklands and in Afganistan.
REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY, Sunday 11th November
A short remembrance ceremony to commemorate the sacrifice made by boys from the School in the two World Wars will be held in the Old School Hall, Woodfield on Sunday 11th NOVEMBER at 3.00pm. The ceremony will take place in front of the stained glass window. A poppy wreath will be laid by Arthur Miller the Association’s President.
The Hall was recently sold by Worcestershire County Council by auction and we are pleased that a local property company Gemini bought it. They have had to undertake work on the building and so the Honours Boards have been removed and placed at the School. The Hall is now used as a Dance Studio with a new floor so no high heals please.
The number of attendees has increased every year and again all Old Carolians and their partners are most welcome to attend the ceremony and should gather in the Hall at 2.30pm.
